Cold Shott & the Hurricane Horns are playing at Chandler's Fall Rhythm Fest on Saturday, October 18th, 5:30 - 9:30 pm, at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler.

The Rhythm Room is hosting a Dutch blues explosion on Friday, October 17th featuring Guitar Ray and Mr. Boogie Woogie.

Delta Groove recording artists The Insomniacs hit the Rhythm Room on Saturday, October 18th. PBS president Kyle Deibler has this to say about the Insomniacs: "One of the great new bands at this year's Blues Music Awards were the Insomniacs from Portland, Oregon. The infectious groove of Vyasa, Dean, Dave and Alex closed out the Blues Music Awards in great fashion and their set the next day at Clarksdale's famous Ground Zero Blues Club was one of the major highlights of Delta Groove's Blues Revue!"

The Rocket 88s host a benefit show for Lil' Bit at the Rhythm Room on Monday, October 20th. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Bill Tarsha of the Rocket 88s also hosts the annual Blues Harmonica Showcase on Thursday, October 23rd, with more than 20 harp players.

Jimmy Peyton's Midnite Blues will be at Pleasant Harbor Marina at Lake Pleasant from 8:00 pm until midnight on Saturday, October 18th.

Honeyboy Dupree and the Smokehouse Players are at Pappadeux's Seafood Restaurant on Friday, October 17th and at Kokopelli Winery in Chandler on Saturday, October 18th.

The Smoking Section Band has a pair of Tucson area gigs this weekend, performing at Ventana Canyon Resort at 10:00 pm on Friday, October 17th and at Lariat Steakhouse in Catalina at 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 18th.
