In Memorium

Walter "Sunny" Gaines, who manned the barbeque cooker in the back lot of the Rhythm Room for many years prior to his semi-retirement four years ago, passed away this week. Sunny was remembered for the disposition that matched his nickname and for calling every customer, male or female, "Big Time." His barbeque was legendary, but it was the stories that he told and the friendships he made that will last forever in the minds of blues fans.
