Card-carrying PBS members will get a $3 discount off the $10 admission price to the show; there's no charge to attend the PBS meeting. Special guests joining "Big Eyes" include pianist Henry Gray, Bob Stroger, Little Frank, and Kenny "Beedy Eyes" Smith.
Hans Olson is doing a two-night stand at Fatso's Pizza (SW corner of 32nd St. & Thunderbird) on Friday & Saturday, June 23rd & 24th, from 6:00 until 9:00 pm each night. Also, mark your calendars now for one of the premier blues events of the year, as Hans celebrates his birthday at the Rhythm Room on Sunday, July 2nd. It will also be the 20th anniversary of the Hans Olson Band, which now gets together only once a year for this party! Bluzone will be playing the Alamo Saloon in Fountain Hills on Friday & Saturday, June 23rd & 24th. Jimmy Peyton's Midnite Blues is at 26th Street Blues, 2547 E. Indian School Rd., on Friday & Saturday, June 23rd & 24th, beginning both nights at 9:00 pm. The band will also be part of a big 4th of July celebration on Saturday, July 1st at Big Al's Downtown, 717 S. Central. Cold Shott & The Hurricane Horns plays at CK's on Saturday, June 24th, starting at 9:30 pm. Chico Chism's Flamekeepers are doing a special Saturday night gig on June 24th at El Dorado Bar & Grill. Loose Cannons Blues Band are at Pappadeux's Seafood Restaurant, 11501 N. Black Canyon Highway, on Friday, June 23rd, 6:00 - 10:00 pm

appears in concert at the
Rhythm Room on Sunday, June 25th. Opening the show will be The
Heymakers. Tickets are $15 in advance, and can be purchased at the bar or from all

Smoking Section will be at Sushi Hamma (corner of Sabino
Canyon and Tanque Verde Rd. in Tucson) from 6:00 - 9:00 pm

One Class Act
is looking to beat the heat this weekend with a Sunday
show at the Sportsman Chalet in Strawberry, AZ on June 25th from
4:00 until 8:00 pm.
Danny Rhodes
is performing in Sedona as part of the Red Dirt Concert Series on

"Big Eyes" Smith, who will be celebrating his CD release party at the Rhythm
Room later that evening.
