Bluzone is at the Alamo, in Fountain Hills, on Friday & Saturday, April 14th & 15th. Loose Cannons Blues Band is at Pappadeaux's on Saturday, April 15th from 6:00 until 10:00 pm. Hans Olson has a new steady gig every Thursday night at Pranksters Too, located in Scottsdale at the southwest corner of Hayden & Thomas Rds. One Class Act has a two-night stand at Dillon's, 8706 W. Thunderbird Rd., on Friday & Saturday, April 14th & 15th, from 6:00 until 10:00 pm. Jimmy Peyton's Midnite Blues is at 26th Street Blues, 2547 E. Indian School Rd., on Friday & Saturday, April 14th and 15th from 9:00 pm until 1:00 am. Sistah Blue appears at the Rhythm Room on Saturday, April 15th. Mikel Lander plays at Stinkweeds, 12 W. Camelback, every Sunday from noon until 2:00 pm.
Upcoming concerts Little Charlie and the Nightcats are playing the Rhythm Room this Friday, April 14th. National recording artist Chris Cotton will be with his blues trio as part of a Busted Hearts CD Release Party at the Rhythm Room on Thursday, April 20th. The 3rd Annual McDowell Mountain Music Festival is coming to WestWorld in Scottsdale April 28-29. Among the blues acts will be Buckwheat Zydeco and Jonny Lang. Complete info is at www.mmmf.net.
