The October meeting is set for Saturday, October 14th, with a special membership event at Alice CoopersTown, 7:00 pm. The event will feature three great bands --- Cold Shott & The Hurricane Horns, Honeyboy Dupree & the Smokehouse Players, and Big Daddy D & The Dynamites. Admission for PBS members will be only $5. This is an all-ages show!
The big show in town this weekend is the annual Bob Corritore birthday bash at the Rhythm Room on Saturday, September 30th. It's Bob's 50th! Appearing will be blues legends Hubert Sumlin, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, Henry Gray, plus more, and a special finale all-star jam session. Cold Shott & the Hurricane Horns will be appearing at the Lake Pleasant Marina from 6:00 until 10:00 pm on Saturday, September 30th. One Class Act is playing at CK's on Friday, September 29th and at the Boondocks, in Tucson, on Saturday, September 30th. Jimmy Peyton's Midnite Blues is at 26th Street Blues, 2547 E. Indian School Rd., on Friday, September 29th. Loose Cannons Blues Band is doing a special two-night gig at Skipper's Lounge, in Glendale, on Friday & Saturday, September 29th & 30th.

The weekly Blues Brunch at Stinkweed's, 12 W. Camelback, Phoenix, is back. Appearing each week from noon until 2:00 pm are Mikel Lander and special guests.

scheduled for November 12th & 19th at the
Rhythm Room.

scheduled for September 30th at the beautiful new
Pine
Mountain Amphitheater. The show, to be held from 11:00
am until 5:30 pm, will feature

Soulcatcher. Tickets are available on-line at
