Arkansas bluesman Dave Riley is in town this week. This guy is great and a show by Mr. Riley is not to be missed! He'll join Bluzone for their Friday night gig at the Alamo Saloon in Fountain Hills on September 8th and will appear with his own band at the Rhythm Room on Saturday, September 9th. Bluzone will return to the Alamo Saloon on Saturday, September 9th with regular vocalist Devo.

Shott & The Hurricane Horns
are doing a pair of gigs at
Harrah's Ak-Chin in Maricopa on Friday, September 8th and Saturday,
September 9th, starting both nights at 8:00 pm.
Loose
Cannons Blues Band will be performing at Amvets Post 5, 3805 S.
16th St., Phoenix on Sunday, September 10th from 8:00 until 11:00 pm.
Veteran blues guitarist
Duke Robillard
hits town this weekend for a concert at the
Rhythm Room on
Friday, September 8th. Hans Olson is still holding down the regular Thursday night gig at Pranksters Too, at the southwest corner of Hayden and Thomas in Scottsdale.
The second annual Bisbee Blues Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd. For complete information, check their site at www.bisbeebluesfestival.com. 14-year-old Valley guitarist KC Blues has been selected as one of the finalists in the acoustic competition at the annual Telluride Blues Festival, scheduled for the weekend of September 15-17th. The winner of the contest gets to perform on the big stage on Saturday, September 16th. Very cool, Kevin!!! Attention guitar players: Haight Guitars, a new store in Scottsdale, is having its grand opening this Saturday, September 9th, from 2:00 until 7:00 pm. They're located at 7130 E. scheduled for September 30th at the beautiful new

Mountain Amphitheater in Flagstaff. The show, to be held from 11:00
am until 5:30 pm, will feature
