I am looking for players that enjoy the sound of rhythm and swing in their blues to form a band.
Drummer = jazz sensibilities - no overplaying - think Charley Watts.
Guitar = clean & understated - able to smoke and then burst into flames and then go back to smoke - no SRV clone, please.
Bass = very simple - no "lead" bass runs - just married to the drummer -a solid thump.
Piano = boogie baby.
I come from Cally and am a friend / student of Rod Piazza. I can play the harmonica in many styles. I can sing, but a sexy female lead would be cool. My goal is music that is so infectious that no one can resist the beat. Like Chuck Berry said " If its a slow one will omit it- if its a fast one that'll get it..." Lose your ego at the door, lets make voodoo beat music. E-me @
leognash@yahoo.com. FUN & magic are the operative words.
